That’s probably because when I wasn’t busy doing other things this weekend, I was wasting away the time playing the new Dragon Age: Origins game from Bioware. I know, I know, lame. But seriously folks, this is wicked fun and also mighty addictive. For someone like me, who likes my games to be story driven, Bioware has once again come through with a game that even I can play (Casual difficulty setting, thank you very much) and that I can play how I want. I can be a good guy or a bad guy, human or elf or dwarf, and I can play out the story in whichever way I see fit. What I’ve concluded is that I am probably only going to end up spending more hours wrapped up in this game.
So if you know you are the addictive type, like me, and want to avoid having hours of your life drained away, you should probably avoid buying this game. If you have the time and money to burn, however, and are looking for a fun way to entertain yourself for a few weeks this is a great way to do it.
I too am an addictive type, and World of Warcraft has been my drug of choice.
If you need a story to your games, then your safe. Warcraft has next to none.
This comment took me 3 hours to write, as I had to take breaks to kill Murlocs and sell items I’d looted in the Auction House.
Just kidding.
Sort of.
Help.
:)
Ha ha ha ha ha ha! I honestly tried WOW and couldn’t get into it. I may be in serious trouble when SWTOR comes out, though. Fully voiced, story driven, MMORPG….. *drool*
