The Objects of My Affection

The Objects of My Affection

Rarely do these two actually seem to get along these days, what with all of the 4 am fights they enjoy having in my bedroom. It’s like a hurricane has hit my laundry hamper and leads to some groggy mornings of stumbling around while yelling at them to get along.

Once in a while, though, they seem to find each other’s company quite enjoyable. I think the orange leather chair I acquired for free from my office is the catalyst. Never fighting over this chair, if one wants to sleep there while the other is in it, they will actually choose to occupy the same space. It’s like a magical vortex of snuggle time.

I am certainly not complaining.

Adoption Has its Benefits

Adoption Has its Benefits

These two were part of a litter of 4 that were unwanted and living in a house with 3 dogs until they found new homes. We couldn’t leave without them, so we succumbed and took two.

Ben & Sara have been living in our house (either in my or my roommate’s room) since Monday. Between eating, sleeping, and playing with one another, there hasn’t been a whole lot of time for much else for them. But, we love them and are now covered in small scratch marks everywhere.

Enjoy the photos!
